Opinion poll Tamil Nadu Assembly Election 2011

Southern State of Tamil Nadu is going for poll on 13th April and results of this election will be declared on 13th May, 2011. Meanwhile many opinion polls by many news papers and independent members are available in front of us. Most of these opinion polls are pointing towards same results that AIADMK alliance will get victory in coming assembly election. I also collected data of around 50000 online votes and out of which 33500 voted in favor of AIADMK alliance.

If I add all this data then results come in this way that AIADMK alliance is going to win above 60% seats in coming election which means 140 plus seats. However, everyone is giving importance to one fact that there will be very less difference in vote share of both parties which means that losing margin of candidates will be very small. Tamil Nadu politics is full of small parties and free gifts to public.

Both AIABMK alliance and DMK alliance are equally popular and strong and election will win be determined by small difference of votes. It is wrong to predict any thing related to Tamil Nadu till end because no clear picture is coming out so far. Opinion polls can vary greatly and online polls are mostly wrong. Though, we can say that there is slight edge for AIADMK alliance and it can win this election if all factors and new alliances work in its favour. Time for Summer Vacations

With increasing mercury in India, trend for summer vacations is picking fast. Already, many hotels in hill stations have seen up to 70% booking for this summer season. Therefore, if you are planning for a summer vacation at popular tourist hill station then you should book your hotel in advance; otherwise, you may miss good hotel. In most parts of India during summers temperature rises up to 50 degree Celsius which makes it unbearable to stay at those places.

Therefore, large numbers of people run towards good hills stations to get relief from such hot weather. Indians are fortunate that we have so many options of hill stations present in front of us like Manali, Srinagar, Ooty etc. At a hill station, temperature generally remains pleasant; therefore, people get relief from summer heat. Moreover, people can find many attractive places to visit at these hill stations and enjoy their stay at these hill stations.

Hotels owners and other people associated with tourism industry at these hill stations get good opportunity to exploit this increasing flow of tourists. However, there is also one disadvantage with peak summer vacations that we hardly find free space for enjoying peaceful vacations because these hill stations become over crowded with tourists. Good planning is must for avoiding unnecessary inconveniences.

We all are weak

At certain points in life, we all feel very weak from inside and find it hard to gather required strength to fight back. Similar kinds of situations are faced by all of us when we find everything going out of our control. Any human being may present himself very strong; however, at certain point or situation we all find ourselves totally helpless to cope up with certain matters and situations.

For example, no one in this world has control over death or fatal illness and we mostly become silent observers during such situations. We can not save a person who is certain to die because it is not in our control to give life to a dying person. Similarly, during recent earthquake and Tsunami in Japan millions of people got buried under rubbles and many more are washed away by sea waves.

Such matters expose weakness of human beings. Though, we should not worry much about our weakness because this weakness helps us to grow power to surrender ourselves to supreme God or infinite who is much much stronger than us. I have seen many powerful and strong people in life who were once seen as men of strength in society; however, many of these people have vanished from world without any trace and many of them become dependant on others before their exit from world.

Therefore, it is important to always remember that we all are weak or will become weak with time. There is nothing wrong in accepting one’s weakness because we become stronger internally when we realize we are weak.

Family dominated politics and Future of India

It is very easy to see dominance of families in big and small political parties of India. Most of political parties in India are either under the influence of some families or they are controlled by these families. Some of examples of these family dominated political parties are Congress, DMK, Akali Dal, RJD, SP, NC, PDP, BJD etc.

Indian politics is so much under the influence of family dominated politics that people of India do not have true political alternatives available in front of them. These families dominated political parties move around these families only and ordinary members of such parties hardly get opportunity to reach top positions in party. These political parties start with these families and they end with these families only. This kind of political atmosphere in India has created vacuum of good leaders in Indian politics.

Today, anyone can become big minister or get big political job through his nearness to political families then having true qualities. One of such example is present in front of us in the form of former telecom minister A Raja who got this portfolio because of his proximity to DMK chief. After the independence, we may have abolished kingship; however, family dominated politics has replaced this setup. Today, these big families are news ruler class of India and their family members of kings and queens.

I have no problem with such families; however, many of such families have actually worked negatively for growth of India by accumulating wealth through wrong means. Most of these families have generated billions of dollars of wealth through their rule over India and Indian states. In reality, they stole this money from ordinary Indians and deprived them from true progress. It is very important for Indians to come out of the influence of such political family and encourage true leaders in Indian politics; otherwise, these families will continue to ruin nation and wealth of nation. We survive on Hope

It is very important for all of us to have good hope in our life because hope is a great ingredient for healthy and happy living. We live in a very competitive world where we are required to struggle and fight for many things. Sometimes, we achieve success in life and sometimes, we fail. Life progresses in this way only. Mostly, when we encounter a failure then we become frustrated and unmotivated.

At this stage, lots of people loss their power to struggle again and become successful. Here we can get help of hope to find strength and motivation for new struggles and fights. Therefore, it is very important for us to have hopes in our lives because they provide us energy and strength to achieve goals in our life. In the absence of good hope, we may not find motivation to struggle again and achieve our goals. Hope is great ingredient for becoming a positive and successful human being.

Though, it is also wrong to become too hopeful and hope for good results without putting our efforts. Hope can only help us if we put our all efforts to achieve our goals. Hope is small 1% energy which helps us when we have put 99% our efforts. With hope, we can continue our efforts for success and happiness in life. Without hope, we live like a dead man and fail in every part of life.

Choosing durable products over plastic

Today, Plastic has become threat of our society because it’s nondegradable properties and many side effects. Plastic has emerged as one of biggest threat for human society because plastic wastes are piling up around the world causing great earth pollution problems. Therefore, we are seeing initiatives by many state governments to curve use of plastic and putting ban on plastic usage. People can also understand importance for good durable products like steel drums over plastic products. For example, steel is recyclable, it is durable and it is nontoxic. Therefore, it is important for us to increase usage of such products. By avoiding use of plastic and increasing use of durable products like steel, we can make our earth a good place to live. Plastic waste has become threat for well being of our beautiful earth; therefore, it is important for use to stop use of plastic and increase use of durable and good products.

Who will win Kerala Assembly Election 2011?

Indian State of Kerala is going for Assembly polls on 13th April, 2011 as present Legislative Assembly is going to expire on 23-5-2011. Results of Kerala Assembly election 2011 will be declared on 13th May, 2011 with other four states going to poll with Kerala. Kerala is one of the most educated states of India; therefore, we can hope that People of Kerala will wisely choose their new chief minister.

Presently, Kerala is ruled by Left Democratic Front (LDF) which is group of left parties and some Kerala regional parties. The opposition alliance is United Democratic Front (UDF) which is group of Congress and some Kerala regional parties. Generally, Kerala is ruled by either LDF or UDF and there is no third alternative present in Kearla.

National parties like BJP, BSP have some presence in Kerala; however, so far they have failed to show any progress on ground. Kerala is also one state of India where a single leader can start his own political party; therefore, we see presence of many regional political parties in Kerala.

Present chief minister of Kerala V.S. Achuthanandan from Communist Party of India (Marxist) is very confident of winning Kerala assembly for second term. On the other hand, Congress lead UDF is hoping to win this election on Anti-incumbency votes and by highlighting corruption issues related to present government.

UDF is claiming that it will repeat similar performance which it showed in 2001 assembly election when UDF swept assembly electron by winning 99 seats out of 140 assembly seats. This claim of Congress is coming out because of UDF's good performance in 2009 Loksabha election when UDF won 16 seats out of 20. In upcoming Kerala assembly election, it too look that UDF has edge over LDF and it can form next government in kerala.

Final outcome of Kerala assembly election will be declared on 13th May, 2011 and then we will learn that what people of Kerala actually want. Also visit Kerala Assembly Election 2011 Assembly Election 2011 Kerala Dates

Super Moon and Superstitions

Super Moon is going to occur on 19th March, 2011 and on this day; we will be able to see Moon much bigger and brighter. On 19th March, distance of moon from earth will be 356577 km (221567 miles) which is least distance earth and moon in last 18 years. Super Moon is a natural phenomenon due to the orbital rotation of moon around the earth. However, many superstitious people believe that Super Moon is associated with natural disasters.

These people are relating recent natural calamity of Japan with this incidence. These people are also giving examples of past incidences of Super Moon and natural disasters around it. Last supper moon occurred during 1955, 1974, 1992 and 2005. In year 2005 near Super Moon, we saw Tsunamis in Indian Ocean which killed millions of people. Now, Earthquake and Tsunami has stuck Japan few days before Super Moon.

In history, there are other such incidences and natural tragedies which took place around Super Moon. Therefore, many people are predicting more natural tragedies near 19th March and they are quoting previous examples to support their theory. However, most of scientists which have studied Super Moon are of this view that Super Moon will not cause any harm to earth. Only we can see some high tides in sea which happens due to increased gravitational pull of moon because of its closest distance to earth.

Assam Assembly Election 2011

North East state of India Assam will go for assembly election in two phases next month on 4th April and 11th April (For detailed Election dates visit- Assembly Election 2011 Assam Dates) These elections will decide the fate of decade old Congress rule over state. There are total of 126 assembly seats in Assam and any party or alliance need support of 64 MLAs to form new government in state. Presently, Congress is running government in Assam with the support of Bodoland People’s front (BPF).

Chief Minister of Assam, Tarun Gogoi is very confident of third consecutive win for Congress in this election because of good progress done by his government in last ten years. To some extent, Assam has emerged as much peaceful and progressive state during his tenure; however, victory route is not so simple for him. In 2006 Assam Assembly election, Congress emerged as single largest party by winning 55 seats out of total 126 seats and it made government with support of 11 Bodoland People’s front (BPF) MLAs.

The main opposition parties are Asom Gana Parishad (Assam Peoples Association) AGP, Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) and AIUDF All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF). Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) is largest opposition party in Assam and it has alliance with parties like CPM, CPI, ASDC etc. This alliance got 28 seats in last Assembly election. BJP and AIUDF do hold good strength in Assam and they both got 10 seats in last assembly election.

The main good news for Congress is that there is no unity between opposition parties and Congress is likely to get good advantage from fight of opposition parties among themselves. Congress vote share in last election was 31 % however, it got 55 seats because of division of opposition votes. AGP vote share in last election was 20.4% while vote share of BJP was 12%. Therefore, any future alliance between opposition parties in Assam can create many problems for ruling Congress; on the other hand, Congress looks for comfortable win if opposition parties continued to fight among themselves.

Kerala Assembly Election 2011

Kerala is next state in India where Assembly election will take place with five other states of India on 13th April, 2010 and final counting of votes will take place on 13th May, 2010. For more details of election dates visit Assembly Election 2011 Kerala Dates. Kerala is one of educated states of India with 100% literacy rate; therefore, we can hope that people of Kerala will choose new government with proper care.

The main fight in Kerala is between ruling Left Democratic Front (LDF) and opposition alliance United Democratic Front (UDF). The main parties of LDF includes Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI (M)), Communist Party of India (CPI), Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP), Kerala Congress (Joseph) (KCS), Janata Dal (Secular) (JD(S)), Indian Congress (Socialist) (C(S)), Kerala Congress (Thomas), Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Indian National League (INL) etc.

The main parties of UDF includes Indian National Congress (INC), Indian Union Muslim League (IUML), Kerala Congress (Mani), Kerala Congress (Balakrishna Pillai), Kerala Congress (Jacob), Kerala Congress (Secular), Janathipathya Samrakshana Samithy, Communist Marxist Party, Revolutionary Socialist Party (Baby John), Janata Dal (Secular) Veerendra Kumar etc.

Apart from these two big political alliances, there are many other regional political parties with some presence of BJP. Kerala is one state of India where we can find many small political parties with small political base. These small political parties play very crucial role in the success and failure of any political alliance in state; therefore, all big parties of state always go with these small parties in election.

In 2006 Kerala assembly election, The Communist Party of India (Marxist)led Left Democratic Front got major success by winning 98 assembly seats out of total 140 seats whereas UDF got only 42 seats. While in 2001 Kerala Assembly Election, UDF showed similar performance by winning 99 seats and just 40 seats for LDF. In 2009 Loksabha Election, LDF showed great performance by winning 17 Loksabha seats out of total 20 seats.

This time in Kerala, we can see tough election battle between UDF and LDF because it is very hard to predict which alliance will merge final winner. Though, there are good chances that UDF will increase its votes share and numbers of seats as compared to 2006 election while LDF will loss vote share and seats; however, it is not clear so far that how much shift in votes will take place. For final outcome of election results, we are required to wait till 13th May, 2011 when final counting of votes will take place. Also visit- Who will win Kerala Assembly Election 2011?

Election commission of India has announced dates of forthcoming assembly election in Tamilnadu. Assembly Election will take place in Tamil Nadu on 13th April and results of this election will be declared on 13th May. This election result will tell that DMK (The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam) and its alliance partners will stay in power in Tamil Nadu or All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) and its alliance partners will steal power.

In 2006 Tamilnadu Assembly election, DMK alliance got major success by winning 163 seats out of 234 seats with gain of 94 seats over 2001 assembly election. The main partners of DMK alliance were DMK, Congress, PMK, CPI (M), CPI and Muslim League. On the other hand, AIADMK alliance got only 69 seats with loss of 63 seats. Who will win West Bengal Assembly Election?

Tamil Nadu politics is totally dominated by regional and small political parties with some base of Congress and BJP. Main leading political parties of Tamil Nadu are DMK and AIADMK and this time also, we can see new chief minister from one of these parties only. To the main question that who will win Tamil Nadu assembly Election then one thing is clear that DMK alliance is going to loss some seats because of large numbers of corruption charges against it while AIADMK alliance is going to gain seats.

For making government in Tamilnadu, any political party or alliance needs to win 117 or more seats. In 2009 Loksabha Election too DMK alliance has shown good performance by winning 67% Loksabha seats; though, this time it is not going to be easy for DMK alliance to repeat similar performance because of big corruption scandals and increasing prices of common items.

At present political fight is very fierce in Tamil Nadu with some edge for AIADMK alliance if we give importance to past political history of state; however, presence of so many political parties and factors make it hard to present a good picture. For exact results, we are required to wait till 13th May, 2011 when final counting will take place.
