Who will win Kerala Assembly Election 2011?

Indian State of Kerala is going for Assembly polls on 13th April, 2011 as present Legislative Assembly is going to expire on 23-5-2011. Results of Kerala Assembly election 2011 will be declared on 13th May, 2011 with other four states going to poll with Kerala. Kerala is one of the most educated states of India; therefore, we can hope that People of Kerala will wisely choose their new chief minister.

Presently, Kerala is ruled by Left Democratic Front (LDF) which is group of left parties and some Kerala regional parties. The opposition alliance is United Democratic Front (UDF) which is group of Congress and some Kerala regional parties. Generally, Kerala is ruled by either LDF or UDF and there is no third alternative present in Kearla.

National parties like BJP, BSP have some presence in Kerala; however, so far they have failed to show any progress on ground. Kerala is also one state of India where a single leader can start his own political party; therefore, we see presence of many regional political parties in Kerala.

Present chief minister of Kerala V.S. Achuthanandan from Communist Party of India (Marxist) is very confident of winning Kerala assembly for second term. On the other hand, Congress lead UDF is hoping to win this election on Anti-incumbency votes and by highlighting corruption issues related to present government.

UDF is claiming that it will repeat similar performance which it showed in 2001 assembly election when UDF swept assembly electron by winning 99 seats out of 140 assembly seats. This claim of Congress is coming out because of UDF's good performance in 2009 Loksabha election when UDF won 16 seats out of 20. In upcoming Kerala assembly election, it too look that UDF has edge over LDF and it can form next government in kerala.

Final outcome of Kerala assembly election will be declared on 13th May, 2011 and then we will learn that what people of Kerala actually want. Also visit Kerala Assembly Election 2011 Assembly Election 2011 Kerala Dates

VS is only a mimicry artist. He is not at all fit to be a CM,even if LDF wins election. IF UDF wins- OUR FATE:- Poor Keralites we are politically intoxicated. We have no idependant views.

  10. You ask the people West Bengal
The WB is in a ruin state. The Left parties have failed to bring development to the state.
The left who proclaim that they are the agents of Development are silent about West Bengal
WB has decided for the change. Leaders are in total confusion in Kolakta. 30 years of rule has made all CPM leaders rich. THey are in nexus with land mafia. Common man can not fight against this mafia. Police in WB is just'nokkukuthikal. Poor people in WB they voted them to power out of comulsion. It is the time to change

LDF is the only alternate of LDF. As far as Kerala is concerned it is an inevitability of continuity of Government. As a common man should consider many things before he cast his vote for a candidate.
    1, Election manifesto
    2, Policy of government
& the comparison of last UDF Goverment & present LDF Government.
smart city only example is enough how can a dedicated government to work for the state interest.
there is no doubt that the election win by LDF with full majority.

  15. Kunjalikutty, Balakrishna Pillai and other prominent UDF leaders are shame to civilised and literate Kerala Society. LDF should win the election. No other alternate. Should win from all 140 constituencies. Then only the corrupt congress leadership will learn some lessons.

  17. It is not the problem who will win. LDF has garbaged all its principles and policies. It is no more a party of common man. No time in the history of Kerala there has been State sponsored Hartals. During the LDF regime there were 13 State sponsored hartals. People are fed up seeing the quarrel of VS and Pinarayi.

  18. It is very much true that Kerala people had shown a tendency to think differently in each election. But repeating the past will not be so easy, with the performance of VS ministry. That is the reason why LDF is giving a tight fight for the opposition this time. The problems in the seat allotment process are so common with UDF. But the development issues and the corruptions are the most debated words in Kerala politics nowadays.
Corruption is there in almost all departments. No one is exempted from corruption and therefore from poverty. New theories support that. But the question is how effective is the government authorities in controlling the fact 'Corruption'. In central ministry we heard about big amounts and big people into corruption. In Kerala also we deal with corruption. But the present government have done something or more than anybody else, to control this evil fact. That in some way leads to the controlling of poverty.
Development is the other issue where this government showed some interest. It is true that no high tech express highways are introduced but we should consider the fact that development is not express highway. Development should be in such a way that the lower division people should be given more preference and the programs should be implemented to develop their living status in the society. This government did a remarkable job in that aspect. The lower division should not be based on their cast but based on their income and way of living.
The other excellent job of this government is the functioning of home department. Due to n number of programs and due to good implementation the number of cases increased as they have made favorable atmosphere to report cases for public. But our people mislead that the cases increased. But it is the reporting that increased. This government had shown care in implementing many programs in police like Janamythry. Implementation of Community policing is the biggest success of this government where as in other states it’s a failure due to non implementation.
These facts are considered in the election and we should not forget the role of media in reporting of these things and conveying this to public. In this state most of the media are biased and they are helping UDF.
I think therefore even if LDF fails in the election, it is not due the failure of the VS government but due to the impact of biased media in the society.
Still i consider "Most" of the Kerala people can think and act therefore the prediction of mine is

    LDF- 71-76*
    UDF- 64-69

    Else

    LDF- 70*
    UDF- 69
    Others- 1

*Note- Fact under consideration is "("MOST" of the Kerala people can think not all)"

Do first what is important? (Improvised)

In today's world, a significant number of individuals struggle with prioritizing tasks effectively, often leading to missed opportunities and hindered success. They tend to invest valuable time in trivial matters while neglecting the truly important ones. Consequently, they forego numerous golden chances to achieve financial prosperity or accomplish their goals. Lack of discipline and a tendency to engage in unimportant activities often plague many people's lives. Regrettably, after facing failures, they often attribute their misfortunes to external factors and circumstances, failing to acknowledge their own responsibility for their setbacks.   It is crucial to recognize the significance of prioritization in life and to focus on undertaking essential tasks first. Successful individuals distinguish themselves from their less successful counterparts by understanding what truly matters to them and prioritizing their actions accordingly.
