Today, Sri Lankan legendary spin bowler Muttiah Muralitharan becomes the highest wicket taker in test cricket history. He achieved this success in his 116 test match against England in Kandy. He has now taken 709 wickets from 116 test matches which are one than the previous record of 708 held by Australian star bowler Shane Keith Warne. However, Muralitharan achieved this success only in 116 matches while it took 145 matches for Warne to complete this task.
