Beyond Boundaries: How Osho Challenges Convention (My views on Osho)

osho,thoughts,views,

I have always held immense respect for Osho, whose writings have profoundly influenced my journey toward becoming a stable individual with open and unbiased perspectives. It is through Osho's blessings that I find myself writing and sharing articles with you. Below is a revised and edited piece on Osho, originally written by me over a year ago. I have chosen to use the present tense, as his teachings, meditations, and philosophies continue to resonate as if he were still alive.

Osho can be described as a God, a Philosopher, a Guide, a Motivator, a Psychologist, or even a Friend. The truth is, he embodies all of these roles. Often referred to as a modern Guru ahead of his time, Osho's revolutionary way of thinking sets him apart. His followers are predominantly from abroad, with many belonging to the highly educated upper class. Unlike traditional spiritual leaders, Osho does not perform miracles or ask anyone to follow him blindly, which explains his limited fellowship among the lower class.

A highly educated individual himself, Osho's theories about the world and God are groundbreaking. He stands as one of the most revolutionary figures of his era, challenging the very foundations of religious systems. Bold and fearless, he confronted numerous myths tied to religion and rejected the conditioning imposed by most religious practices. According to Osho, we are not truly ourselves; instead, we are reflections of our parents, societies, and religions. Our minds are conditioned to follow predefined paths, imprisoning us within mental constraints.

Osho emphasized that the mind should serve us, not enslave us. To achieve this, he advocated for unconditioning ourselves from past influences. He encouraged full expression of suppressed emotions and desires, to the extent that they no longer arise. His progressive views on open sexuality and his comparison of sex to meditation were groundbreaking, making him the first spiritual leader to openly address such a personal topic.

A master of psychology, Osho's meditation techniques are timeless masterpieces. He possessed the unique ability to transform simple breathing exercises into profound meditative practices. Bold in introducing new ideas, his methods have brought transformative change to countless lives. Osho urged us to embrace the innocence and unconditioned nature of a child, to forget societal constructs, and rediscover our true selves. He inspired us to live life to its fullest, creating and breaking our own rules in the pursuit of self-discovery.
