Timetable/schedule Cricket World Cup 2011

Cricket world cup 2011 is starting from 19 Feb, 2011 at Mirpur, Bangladesh and it will end on 2 April, 2011 at Mumbai. This tournament will be jointly played in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and India. There are total of 14 cricket nation teams participating in this tournament. These teams are divided in to two groups of 7 teams in each group. These 14 teams will play total 42 group matches and four teams from each group will qualify for four quarterfinal matches. Final four teams will play in semi-final and last two teams will play final match of tournament. Today India becomes the first twenty20 cricket world champion. India wins this match by 5 runs in the last over with three balls remaining. Who will win Tamil Nadu Assembly Election 2011?

Election commission of India has announced dates of forthcoming assembly election in Tamilnadu. Assembly Election will take place in Tamil Nadu on 13th April and results of this election will be declared on 13th May. This election result will tell that DMK (The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam) and its alliance partners will stay in power in Tamil Nadu or All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) and its alliance partners will steal power.

In 2006 Tamilnadu Assembly election, DMK alliance got major success by winning 163 seats out of 234 seats with gain of 94 seats over 2001 assembly election. The main partners of DMK alliance were DMK, Congress, PMK, CPI (M), CPI and Muslim League. On the other hand, AIADMK alliance got only 69 seats with loss of 63 seats. The main partners of AIADMK alliance were AIADMK, MDMK, VCK, JD(S), FB(S).

New life for Prashant Tamang

Prashant Tamang has achieved great success by becoming the 3rd Indian idol. This is really his hard work and great singing talent which has helped him achieve this height in life. Prashant Tamang was born in Tungsung village in Darjeeling district on 4 January, 1983 and he also got his study from the same place. He is of Indian Nepalese origin and he speaks Nepali at home. His father served for the Kolkata Police and died in one accident while on job. Due to his father’s sudden death Prashant was forced to leave his studies and join Kolkata police for providing financial support to his family. According to Prashant, he never thought about winning the Indian Idol title while entering the contest and all this is like a big dream becoming true for me.
