Yuvraj Singh is a new Cricket Star

Today, Yuvraj Singh is the new star of Indian cricket. Yuvraj Singh’s 6 sixes in one over and two great innings in the world cup have made him the hero of Indian fans. The main point about the performance of this left hand batsman Yuvraj Singh is that Yuvraj delivered when India required him most. Born of 12 December, 1981, this Chandigarh boy has achieved great heights in this 20-20 world cup which very less cricketers of the future will be able to achieve again. Already his great performance has earned him prize of 1 crore rupees from BCCI and number of other prize too. This great performance of Yuvraj Singh really deserves it. Yuvraj Singh’s father Yograj Singh is also a former cricketer (fast bowler) and Punjabi film actor. After the completion of this 20-20 tournament large number of bowlers felt happy that Yuvraj did not hit 6 sixes in their over like he did to Stuart Broad of England. Yuvraj Singh is in Indian ODI team from since 2000, however he got chance to play his first test in 2003 only. Now with this strong performance in the 20-20 world cup, we can hope that Yuvraj Singh will remain strong player of Indian team for long time. Yuvraj Singh has more 5000 runs from 186 ODI matches with 7 hundreds and 30 fifties. He also has all-rounder qualities as he has taken 49 wickets. However, his performance in the test matches in not impressive where he has made 830 runs in 19 matches.
