Example 1)- Selecting a rich but bad person as life partner. Here soon people realise that money cannot provide them everything.
Example 2)- Only Marrying a girl for her beauty undermining her bad behaviour . Soon same beauty starts looking very ugly when people discover ugly face of her nature.
Example 3)- Falling in love with a person who cannot take care of you properly. Many times, people fall in love and marry a person who cannot take care of their basic needs then they realise that they have done a big mistake.
These are just few examples and many more examples are present in our world. As per my observation, 40% people make wrong decisions about selecting a life partner and 30% of people make partial wrong decisions about their life partner, while only 30% people actually make right decisions about a life partner. Generally, it is also not right to blame people because lots of people take decisions under the influence of others or strong desires. Moreover, people learn it very late that what kind of person can make them really happy and at this point they have no option left with them.
It is hard to define a good life partner; however, we can look for these basic properties in a suitable partner- 1) Truthful, 2) Understanding, 3) Caring, 4) financially able to manage family (especially in case of men). Different people can have different expectations from their life partner like romantic, fun loving etc and they can look for these properties during their individual search. When people add basic properties with their expectations then they define their suitable life partner. Moreover, it is also important to have realistic approach about finding a suitable life partner and one should not expect too much from other person without giving anything in return. Any relationship is a two way exchange and it does not last long if we only expect from other person.
