Why State of emergency in Punjab and Haryana?

Ram Rahim,

From the last two days situation in the two states of India, Punjab and Haryana is not fine because of the upcoming CBI court verdict on 15 years old rape case against Baba Ram Rahim of Sirsa Dera Saccha Saudha on 25th August. To takle the situation, both state government of Punjab and Haryana are preparing from last one week and three days back, Haryana government imposed section 144 in Panchkula. Yesterday, section 144 is imporsed in more parts of Haryana and Punjab. But sadly, Haryana Police failed to stop Dera followers from reaching Panckula and as per reports already around 10 Lakh follower have gathered here.

To tighten the situation further, mobile internet services were blocked in both states, thus making people unable to connect each others. In all the major cities of Punjab and Haryana, Police is conducting flag march to increase confience in the public. However, all these efforts are creating negaitive effect and people of both states are in the state of fear. One of major reason of this fear is earlier failure of Haryana police to stop past voilent protests in the state which saw total lawlessness in the state and many innocent people suffered because of it.

Already bus and train servcies crossing Haryana are cancelled for next two days, thus making it impossible for the people of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal and J&K to reach New Delhi. It is very sad to live under such situation and I am seeing such situation after many years. It is clear failure of our system to provide freedom and security to the common people of Haryana and Punjab. One of major reason of this issue going out of hand is nexus between the religius Gurus and political parties. Due to vote bank politics, many politicial parties provide shelter to such Babas and Gurus.

At present situation is tense but it is still under control and I hope that situation will become fine soon.

A new 15 year old Buddha

In Nepal a new Buddha is in making. Recently a person called Ram Bomjon from Nepal has been fasting and meditating for last six months beneath a tree. In him people are seeing a new Buddha. This incidence has happened in Bara district of Nepal. Thousands of pilgrims have starting visiting this place. There is news that Ram has not even single time broken his fast. For the last six months he has not moved, even to relieve himself. His place is not much away from the place where original Buddha had done his meditation. According to Ram he does this meditation because a snake has beaten him. He is also asking people for not saying him Buddha because he is telling that he is not having the powers like Buddha.
