Pre-release Review “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi”

Finally, Shahrukh Khan’s fans are not required to wait long for watching him on big screen because Shahrukh’s latest film “Rab Ne Bana Jodi” is all set to hit big screen on 12th Dec, 2008. This film is promoted as an extraordinary love story of an ordinary Jodi. “Rab Ne Bana De Jodi is also third directorial debut of Aditya Chopra after giving two successful films “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge” and “Mohabbatein” in 1995 and 2000 respectively.

Like his earlier two hit film, people are hopping for something similar from him through this film. Rab Ne Bana De Jodi will be completely different film in regards to Shahrukh Khan’s earlier films because in this film he is playing a role of a middle aged person who falls in love with a girl of half his age. Role of this young girl is played by model turned actress Anushka Sharma. Other cast of film includes Vinay Pathak, Anupam Kher and Farida Jalal.

With this film Shahrukh Khan is saying good bye to his famous on screen name “Raj” because Shahrukh thinks that it is time to do more serious roles like he is doing in “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi”. Story of film revolves around this extraordinary love story between a middle age man and girl of half his age with lots of comedy and emotional ingredients. Most of film is shot in Punjab and Punjabi background. Music of film will be released on 6 Nov, 2008.

Already, this film has created lot of curiosity among people thanks to massive marketing by Yash Raj films. There are good chances that this film will come out as a big success; however, we are required to wait till Dec 12 for knowing actual result.

In the beginning of this week, I got a chance to visit one of the holiest cities of India which is Banaras also known as Varanasi. Varanasi is a very popular religious destination because of presence of many places of religious importance around it. It is situated on the bank of holly river the Ganga.
