Why 300% fee hike by IIM is a crime?

Sometimes, it really becomes difficult to believe that India still have huge population of poor and middle class people, who have hardly seen any improvement in their life conditions. Large Indian population has clearly got benefited from privatisation and IT drive which has helped many people in earning good amount of money. However, still our 50% of population is at same cross road, earning same amount of money whereas cost of living has increased many times.

Prices of most of the eatable items are already on higher side, creating maximum burden on the people of India and due to this it has become almost impossible for people earning below Rs 5000 to manage their homes expenditures. Second shock, people are suffering from increasing cost of education in India which is becoming more and more expensive day by day. India was once known for its cheap education and many students from under developing countries like African nations enrol themselves in various Indian universities to get quality education at cheaper cost.

However, recently a new trend has started in India of making money by selling education and now top institutes like IIM Ahmadabad are also becoming part of this mad race. Few days back, IIMA top business school in India increased it’s annually fee by 300%. Soon IIM Bangalore also followed this trend and in future, we can hope similar response from many other IIMs and various universities in India. If all this is allowed to happen then time is not away when getting higher education will become a distinct dream in India like in US.

Great Indian tradition never allows education to be equated with money and most of the great leaders of India has stressed upon providing free or cheap education to people of India. I completed my education in government school for less than Rs 300 per year and my college education for Rs 1500 per year. However, at present this yearly fee is not even enough for monthly fees at many schools and colleges across India.

Institutes like IIM get huge amount of grants and subsides from state and national government, now if they are increasing fee in this manner then what we can expect from other private colleges. Today, India desperately need educated youth for maintaining a top position in world, however, by making education beyond the reach of common people, we are only create dark future for millions of youth and India.

Benefit of Adding Fastag to the Vehicle (Paytm Fastag)

Today, India is progressing in every field and we are seeing many new improvements coming to our lives. One such improvement is mandatory to use of fastag on all vehicles in India. With this change, we can see the saving of time of commuters and saving of valuable fuel. As per the Indian transport minister, with the use of fastag on vehicles, we can hope to see a saving of Rs 20,000 crore. I hope that it will improve the management of vehicles on the various toll plazas. I have many bad experiences on various toll plazas due to manual operation and high rush.  Already, toll collectors and people are finding this scheme of fastag very helpful. I have already installed fastag on my both vehicles two years back. So far, Paytm fastag is the most used fastag in India because it is linked to the Paytm wallet which makes it easy to add cash and make payments. I am also using Paytm Fastag on one of my main vehicles and my experience is very smooth with it. It is very easy to buy Paytm Fasta

Deadly second wave of coronavirus in India (No lessons Learnt from First Wave)

Corona Virus is back in India and this time it is much bigger and dangerous than the earlier one. In the post, Is India ready for Coronavirus? I discussed things that give an idea about the preparedness of India and the Indian healthcare system to control the coronavirus. The first wave of coronavirus has already given many bad shocks for Indians and shown to us that how our health care system is overstretched and not up to the mark. Now the second wave of coronavirus is giving trouble to India. Already talked about it in the Last Post on Surge in Coronavirus cases in India .  The second wave of coronavirus is much bigger than the first wave and it is hitting harder the Indians and Indian healthcare system. If we look at the present situation then it looks that we have learned no lessons from the first wave of the coronavirus and never anticipated a stronger second wave of the coronavirus. If we go by national news then our hospitals have no beds and oxygen. Similar situation, we ca
