These numbers are so alarming that even the Supreme Court of India raised a question on this issue. It is bad for any country to have so bad roads that they start killing more numbers of people than the actual numbers of people killed by any kind of war in country. This clearly states that we don't need wars to kill people because our roads are already doing this job. The condition of Indian roads has always remained a matter of debate. Despite so many efforts, the condition of Indian roads is not good.

Even in big cities, it is very common to find potholes and bad roads then who cares about the small cities and villages.
