Sad Part of Busy City Life

When you start living a busy city life, then you soon come to know about many of its disadvantages. I recently shifted to an apartment bulding with many facilities; however, still I miss many things like the beautiful song of the Common Tailorbird and Cinarous Tit in the morning. Except Pigeon and Common Myna, no other bird visits my apartment which is very different from my earlier home where it was very common to meet new birds daily.

The other sad point is lack of connection between the people living next door. Here people hardly interact with each other and thus, we don't know our neighbors. The three terrorists came in army uniform in the morning and attacked many areas of Denanagar (Gurdaspur).

They attacked the Dena Nagar Bus stand, a nearby hospital, Police station and Police quarters. In this incident 7 civilians, 5 policemen and 3 militants died. Punjab Police's two senior police officers died in this incident, their names are IG (Counter Intelligence) Gaurav Yadav and SP Baljit Singh.

It took 12 hours for the security personnel to neutralize these militants, which shows the preparedness of these attackers. All militants were heavily armed and they came in army uniforms. This incident again highlights that there is a big failure on the ground of I…
