Below, people can watch some pictures from my recent Kanyakumari visit. Kanyakumari represent southern tip of India; therefore, this trip was very significant for me. Kanyakumari is also known as Cape Comorin. Main attractions in Kanyakumari are Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Thiruvalluvar Statue, Triveni Sangan (where three Sea meet), Maa Kanyakumari temple, Suchindrum etc. There are also many other interesting places situated around Kanyakumari which people can visit if they have extra time with them. In kanyakumari many hotels and lodges are available on sea bank which provide a very good view of Sea from room itself. Kanyakumari has own railway station while nearest Airport is in Trivandrum.

Below, people can watch some pictures from my recent visit of famous South Indian temple city Madurai. In Madurai due to short time availability, I visited only Meenakshi Amman Temple. Meenakshi temple is very famous and it is very big in size. In north India, we mostly do not get chance to see such big temples. People need 3-5 hours of free time to see this temple completely. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and his wife Parvati. Here in Madurai, Maa Parvati has taken form of Maa Meenakshi. This temple provides a great chance to see culture and historic wealth of rich Tamil culture of India. Thousand Pillar Hall is also one of main attraction of Meenakshi Temple in Madurai. People who want to see magnificent temples of South India then they must visit Meenakshi Amman Temple in Madurai.

Around temple, people can also find 22 kunds and bath in these kunds give different blessings to people. Rameswaram visit with friends was a spiritual one and enjoyed it lot.

Below, I am going to share few pictures of my recent Tirumala Tirupati Balaji visit. I always wanted to visit Tirupati Balaji; however, mine this wise become true only last week. It was a great experience to get a glimpse of Lord Balaji and I am feeling lucky that I got chance to see him two times. Most of arrangements are fine in Tirumala where actual temple is situated and it is appx. 20 KM away from Tirupati. People have two options available in front of them to either reach by foot or take bus. Every five minute one bus leaves for Tirumala from Tirupati and ticket cost is Rs 3 only.

It is important for every person to select good quality products for all important needs because good quality products last long as compared to cheap products. Today markets are full of many products; therefore, it become slightly difficult to select good products. For example if you are looking for a barcode scanner then you can easily find many choices in the market. In the presence of so many choices, it is important to make a perfect choice so that we should not repent later. Cheap products look good in initial stage however; it is very hard to give any guarantee about their long life whereas good quality products last long. By going for good quality products people can also get lot of satisfaction over cheap quality products.

End of vacation, now back to Ludhiana

Finally, my ten days long vacations are moving towards end and I got great chance to explore and understand life style of South India. I started my journey from Andhra Pradesh, then entered Tamil Nadu and finally returned back from Kerala. I visited many famous places and cities of South like Tirupati, Chennai, Madurai, Rameswaram, Kanyakumari and Trivandrum. It was totally different experience for me and I really enjoyed every experience of my trip.

Today, no part of India is significantly different from other parts of India and most of people have same kinds of expectations and dreams like rest of India. People in South India also have same needs and requirements which we mostly see in North. Infrastructure looks much stronger in South Indian states as compared to many North Indian states. Roads were excellent in Tamil Nadu and it is very cheap to travel by bus in Tamil Nadu. Conditions of buses was also good and we can find good service to any part in Tamil Nadu; therefore, people looking for transportation in Tamil Nadu can go for State Bus service which is well maintained and also very-2 economical.

In Andhra Pradesh and Kerala, roads were slightly bad as compared to Tamil Nadu roads. Tamil Nadu offers a great tourism potential which need more help from government. Kerala is already famous on worldwide tourism map and we can find many tourism attraction in Kerala like back water life, ayurvedic treatments etc. Today, people want to see many good places situated around India which is increasing tourism potential many times.

India is Best

Presently, I am on eight days long vacation in which I have visited Tirupati, Rameswaram and now going to visit Madurai, Kanyakumari and Trivandaram. In present trip, I am getting chance to meet large numbers of people from different parts of India. Today’s India is welcoming all people and in south, local people are very friendly and honest. In north, people are facing strong winter; therefore, some people like me are using this opportunity to visit hot places present in India like Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

Every part of India is now connected with internet and therefore, I booked most of my tickets in advance. Though, slight language problem is still present in some states of India; however, common language in the form of English is making it easy for us to interact with people. Today in Rameswaran, I met with two small eight-nine year village boys and they had good knowledge of English and they asked me many questions like what is my work, from where I have come etc. Both these boys become my friend because of a common language.

Lots of people also know Hindi now in South Indian states; therefore, slowly it is becoming easy to get any help from local people. Tourism is becoming big hit in India and Indian people are releasing importance of visiting large numbers of good places present in India. With every visit, we only release that India is best place to live on earth and how lucky we are to be Indian.

Soon 3G will become a big reality in India and it is all set to change how we use a mobile phone. People will not only talk but they will see each other live through their mobile only. If in 10 years, we can see such a big growth then what will happen in next 10 years.

India as super hub for small cars

We all know this fact that India is growing very fast and slowly, we are achieving new heights which were otherwise unimaginable for most of us twenty years back. Last year, China over took America as biggest car market of world. Similarly, India is also all set to become a big super power as more numbers of its people will grow. Already, India is on the right track of growth and per capita income of people is increasing very fast.

When people will earn more money; then, definitely they will spend more. Majority of Indian pollution is made of young people who are all set to rule world and it is major factor favouring India in its growth. Most of big automakers from across the world are eyeing India for manufacturing their small cars in India because cost of production of small cars is much less in India as compared to other parts of India plus India offer a very big market for small cars; therefore, no company want to miss this bus.

After big success in IT sector in last decade, time is again favouring India because of its vast population and huge opportunities are available here. As per one report, large numbers of NRI Indian will return to India in next twenty years. Small car segment is not only one story of success of India, there are many stories and many new stories are in the process of coming out. Today’s India is full of new hopes and new possibilities which will definitely change life of all people living in India

Preparations on last phase for Maha Kumbh Mela in Haridwar

First Look GM Chevrolet Beat (Picture and Video)

GM Chevrolet has launched their small car specially for Indian market “Beat”. The starting price of this car will be Rs 3.34 Lakh and price of its upper model will be Rs 3.94 Lakh. 10) Song “Rishte Naate” Movie “De Dana Dan”- People have lots of hopes from film De Dana Dan; however, this film only gave few good songs.

Many other songs become hit in 2009; however, these songs attracted more of my and other’s attention.

Year 2009 was mixed year for Bollywood industry where many big budgeted and hyped films flopped on box office, on the other hand some small budgeted unexpected films did well at box office. Below, I have made a list of top 10 films of Bollywood which performed well at box office plus they also entertained people. At the end of year, we saw release of Amir Khan’s film “3 Idiots” which broke all box office records and become biggest Bollywood hit ever. Year 2009 also brought with it lot of good news for Salman Khan who gave hit film in the form of “Wanted” after quite long time.

1) 3 Idiots – Amir Khan starrer film 3 idiots broke all records of film industry in just one week by making more than 100 crore rupees in first week only.
2) Wanted- Wanted was unexpected hit from Salaman Khan and this film showed to Bollywood power of Salman Khan and his fans.
3) Kaminey – With Kaminey, Shahid Kapoor showed his presence at Box office and showed to world that he is next super star.
4) Love Aaj Kal – Love Aaj Kal movie highlighted romantic mix of modern and earlier times and people liked this concept.
5) Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani – Ranbir Kapoor presented himself as only lover boy of Bollywood through this film.
6) New York – This film highlighted problems faced by Muslim youth in USA which most of people liked.
7) Dev D – Dev D was totally different kind of film and showed some serious acting and story to us. Abhay Deol emerged new Deol power in Bollywood with this film.
8) Kambakkht Ishq – This film saved Askhay Kumar to some extent by giving him only hit film of 2009.
9) Wake Up Sid – Wake up Sid was unexpected hit film of 2009 which showed simple but great performances from Ranbir Kapoor and Konkona Sen.
10) All The Best – This film entertained people with comedy.

There are also few other hit films in 2009; however, according to me these films deserves to be in Top 10.

Telangana or No Telangana

Today, whole of Andhra Pradesh is divided over the formation of new state of Telangana. People from Telangana region are fighting hard for the formation of new state while people from rest of Andhra are fighting against its formation. Therefore, Andhra Pradesh is totally divided over this issue. Last year’s central government decision to accept proposal for making new Telangana state after indefinite hunger strike by TRS leader K Chandrasekhara Rao has increased this controversy.

After this decision, we are seeing many protests against and in the favour of this decision. First central government took hasty decision and now it is talking about making a conscious over this issue. This issue has also fuelled many dead demands for other smaller states from different parts of India. Formation of new Telangana state will determine future of many other small states in India. Creation of more and more numbers of small states does not offer any solution to large basic problems of people.

Many these demands emerge due to unparallel growth in some parts as compared to other parts; therefore, people living in these neglected parts starts demanding for new states because it is common belief in people that small states grow faster than big states. It is important for all states governments to work on equal growth in all part of state so that no part of state should feel neglected. Making small states do not offer any long term solution. It is now important to peacefully form new Telangana state because otherwise situation can go out of control.

Controversy over the story of Movie “3 Idiots”

Presently famous writer Chetan Bhagat, who wrote novel “Five Point Someone” is accusing production team of movie “3 Idiots” for not giving him full credit for story of film which is based on his book; however, film production has denied his claim by saying that they own copy right of his work (which permits them to use story from book and give credit to Chetan Bhagat at the end of film) plus they have made significant changes to script of film; therefore, no credits can be given to Chetan. While Chetan Bhagat believes that most of film is based on his book; therefore, he should be given due credit for this film like a saying in the beginning of film “This film is based on Chetan Bhagat’s Novel “Five points Someone”.

Even Amir Khan has written against Chetan Bhagat in his blog that he is trying to take credit of film script away from “3 idiots” script writer Abhijat Joshi. However, anybody who has watched this film and read book “Five points Someone” already known that movie “3 Idiots” is mostly based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel; therefore, Chetan Bhagat is right if he is asking for small credit; however, it is also important to verify that Chetan Bhagat has signed any agreement with film production team as stated by them or not. Movie “3 Idiots” has taken many parts exactly as written in book and many others by making small changes.

It is wrong on the part of producer/director Rajkumar Hirani and Amir Khan, if they deny Chetan Bhagat due credit. Similarly, it is important for Chetan Bhagat to tell only truth. Hopefully, this controversy will die soon and both parties will resolve this issue amicably.
