Tomorrow whole of India and millions of Indians living across the world will celebrate colourful festival of lights popularly known as Diwali. It is believed that Diwali is thousands of years old festival and it got started during Lord Rama time period when he reached back Ayodhya after defeating demon king Ravana. Today, Diwali has got more universal look and it is celebrated by people of all religions and it is popular in every part of India.

People celebrate this festival by sharing sweets with their relatives and friends during day and at night; they do Laxmi Pujan followed by some fire work. Diwali is one of most celebrated festival in India; therefore, every person waits for this festival for whole year. It provides a great enjoyment to any person to celebrate this function with his family and close friend; therefore, mostly people come to their ancestral homes to celebrate this function. With time, this festival is becoming more popular and more numbers of people are now celebrating it. This festival is also one of most expensive festival of India as billions of rupees are spent by common Indians; though, nobody minds this expenditure as this festival is present in our culture from many past years.

It is very important for every person to spread message of happiness in society through this festival. Safety is also important while exploding crackers and doing other fire work because many mishappenings happen during this day due to negligence of people. At end, I wish everyone very Happy and Prosperous Diwali.
