Which to choose “Path of Pleasant” or “Path of Good”?

As par the Vedanta there are two paths to follow. There is one path which will look very pleasant and joyful, but in the end it will lead us to pain and sorrow. The other side is an uninviting and unused path waiting for us. It will have lot of difficulties and uphill. However ultimately it will lead us to a place of Eternal happiness and bless. Every action of the individual is motivated by a desire of human being to be happy. Happiness is seems to be ultimate goal of every human being.

Human being do lot of struggles in life only to achieve this happiness. Even small insect get motivated by the desire of food and crawls towards it. He moves up in the hope that he will be able to get the happiness in term of food. However this circle is continues one. After completing one desire person move for other fulfillment of other desire and finally lands in the sorrow. The other way is to search for the ultimate divine love. Initially it looks difficult for how to reach at this position. Ones this position is reached every joy of world is worthless in front of this joy. This is known as bless of godhood.

Therefore the aim of every individual should be to reach this state of godhood. Every action of human being is divided by the god of death into two categories according to their fruits. In the path of Pleasant the fruit of action is the worldly joyful things. However in the path of Godhood the fruit of action is bless of powerful god. Thus our action can be directed towards immediate materialistic gains or towards the path of self growth and self purification, which are helpful for us in long run. Now it is up to the human being which path he wants to choose.
